Congratulations on the calendar mate and i think you should definitely keep up the brush work. A lot of people think they can Draw/Paint/Photograph but you do have a talent (backed up by other peoples judgment).

Good one old man!! :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Right, this is the scariest thing I have done.......posting this and I know I am in for severe stick. I know my voice isn't great, I know my guitar skills (six string) aren't the best......but here goes, this is what I am doing at the moment for a few hours every Wednesday

It's all rough but getting better week by week

Oi! That's really good ^:)^

I particularly like the spider and the fly :-bd

I have to say that your voice is pretty damn good, damn sight better than mine.

Only trouble is because I know it's you and how you remind me of Benny Hill, I was really hoping to find a cover of 'Ernie' :(

My first attempt at a horse (watercolour painting) - quite pleased but the jockey needs a bit more work

Water colours are very difficult I think. I watch that Painting and drawing programme on Propeller 192. They make it look so easy. :)
Nice try though. I expect the horse fell on the Jockey, that's why he looks like that. =))

Well cover me in batter, deep fry me and call me a fish supper, :o THAT is bloody brilliant Drac. ^:)^

Not perfect my arse!!!

I'd like to able to write, play and record in the same calibre as that, and no, I'm not arse licking, that's my honest opinion.

And you have immortified on the web for future Drac's and junior Drac's to hear.

I tip my hat to you sir. B-)

Well buggle me jibblers - that IS high praise coming form the Jelster - cheers mate appreciate it. The vocals could be better as I am still suffering with catarrh but the first day on the guitar in 15 days and it all went together first time (barring a few small mistakes)

This is more satisfying to me now than it ever was in the 60's playing on stage in front of 1500 people at Bath Pavillion, even if only me and you like it - I am having so much fin making and creating my music

Just wish I could play the drums!!!!

Oh and it sounds so much better through the ipod or iphone

My latest song, written and recorded by me, can be found here http://soundcloud.com/derekrainey/nightmares

Its the fourth on the 'A Tour In Afghanistan' cd I am slowly putting together and this is about the nightmares after the tour is over, trying to get back to 'normality'

Not everyone's cup of tea I realise but I love making music and this is the first year I have been able to record it (can't play the drums so no drums on it)

There are three Guitar tracks, one bass track and two vocal tracks all done on a Tascom DP-04
