As many of you know, my songwriting is posted on Reverbnation now. I am currently 21st in the local charts of Bristol Songwriters (from 17th) but i need people to actually PLAY the songs via Reverbnation.

Therefore I would appreciate it if you would all check out my new song (written two days ago) my first attempt at a Beatles style song. I know my vocals are not brilliant bit to me, the pleasure is in creating the music and words in songwriting.

All my music is created in the spare room on a four track digital recorder

Thanks in advance for your support - Lets see if you can all get me higher in the local charts

OK, I admit it, it's partly an ego thing but also I have a sort of competition with a guy called Barry Walsh and his band on Reverbnation.

I am currently rated number 5 in Bristol Singer/Songwriters and have overtaken his band at last after starting right at the bottom. I am just an amateur whilst he is a semi pro so i want to see if someone like me can make it all the way to the top

It works on how many fans you can get, how many downloads and how many hits your song gets so if you could all just click on some songs on my list for a few minutes, I would gain some credit which might move me up the charts.

While you are there, take a good look around as there are some excellent musicians of all types on Reverb and I know they would all love to find new supporters.

I have said it before, my talent is writing the songs and creating the music not singing so if you do listen, judge me on that please.

I expect and will take (ignore) all piss takes - but if you find you can no longer log in......... ;) don't call me =))

Thanks to anyone who supports me

Oooops - almost forgot - the link

by the way, there is a song called "The Strutter" - written about a guy we had as a member of the RFOC - I am sure a few know who I mean

Nightmares, Going for a Walk, Night Mission, Coming Home and Home are all part of "A Tour In Afghanistan" set I wrote after watching the BBC Docu's about our troops in Afghanistan
