Well thought id post up what used to take my money before the bike, autograss racing, had a couple of cars previous to this one, stripped out class 2 1.2 nova, a very old class 5 metro with a ford cross flow engine in the back, rear wheel drive obviously! Came to a sudden end though!

Autograss racing is an affordable form of motorsport, and is very family oriantated, you can race at 16 in the junior class and cars range for a standard mini (class 1 and juniors) to the class 10 specials which run supercharged v8's, twin bike engines, single busa's etc, very mental!
The track is a quater mile oval on 'grass', never much there though, and a standard race is 5 laps, so very quick, lots of drifting from the rear wheel cars and very close racing!

When i got the pictured class 8 it had an old sidecar teams gsxr in it, this was stripped of everything that wasnt necessary, starter, generator ect, so took that out and put in a complete gsxr 1100 that i aquired cheaply, wired up the dyna 2000 ignition system and everything else, put a rad, oil cooler, temp gauge etc on, new seat and a fresh coat of paint and away i went to my first race.
That didnt go too well though as when i got in the car for scrutineering i could'nt fit my helmet on and look up, let alone have the required 2" between my helmet and the roof, lack of planning there!!!!

So head in hands the car was back in the garage to lower the seat, that sorted, the car and trailer were then put in my grandads garage out the way till the next weekend.
Unfortunatly the night after i put it there it was stolen, car, trailer, everything.
Usaul police didnt want to know as it was'nt a registered or insured vehicle, so left with very empty pockets and very deflated after so much work and no play, i decided to get on with my bike licence as id been thinking abut it for a while, thats how im here now.

Also play the guitar too although its been i while so im probably crap now!!
