42ft Westerly Ocean-lord coming out of the water.

If you can scroll in to look at the propellor area.....

Whats left of the muscles and barnacles after the power wash on the dock...

And now it needs all the black area rubbing down with 'wet and dry' plus re painting with Anti foul plus 3 new anodes. Then sorting out two blocked toilets still with **** in them before relaunch on the 18th August.....

And people thought bike restoration was hard!!! =)) =)) =)) =)) =))

Very pretty captain pugwash. Hope you've got your cabin boy ready. Remember to swab the poop deck and be careful down below.

Also nice bucket, hope you have many happy days in her ( this bit i mean)

Sadly, she isnt mine. I'd need about 50 decent RF's to afford her!

I just get the joy of working on her and fixing the issues.

And people wonder why there bike doesnt start after leaving fuel in the carbs for 3 months..... try leaving your yacht on a mooring for 3.5 years and expect it to work properly....

Sadly they power wash them off and then brush them back into the harbour. Would have certainly been a good feed for a few people. Mule's a la creame.

If you arent willing to catch it you shouldnt be willing to eat it.

Granted its damned hard to catch a wild cow around here (excluding what you find in town centre on a friday night) but you get the drift hopefully.

Note: I wouldn't eat all that wildlife. Im allergic to shellfish (and stuff out of the harbour at dover).

Well been up to my shoulders in s**t for most of the day. So glad the holding tanks are only 15 gallons than 60 gallons. Saying that one 'heads' sorted now. 8 baby wipes removed from within the diverter, seacock and pipe work.

The other head works after a fashion. It will pump to the tank and discharge direct but wont go from the tank to sea via the pump. Somethings blocked the pipes so its either more baby wipes or calcium blocked pipes. So day two of clearing heads is on the way.

After that its sanding 42 ft of hull (about 30 sqm of area) before applying anti foul paint and she's almost ready for relaunch.... 17th August.

shitty jobs go to the cabin boy, on your knees sailor, give it your all and you'll get all you can take. :D

also, 2 heads, it's got more than my house, what sort of gin palace are you running here?

note:

Head, nautical term, hole in the blank to dangle your swamp gas cannon through when the call of the wild takes you. Term often used to confuse landlubbers and leave them searching for the facilities.

I don't even own a motorsickle anymore, let alone a Suzuki and yet I still find myself compelled to still have a look in here now and then. 8-}

Just seen an advert about an auction of boats and marine related stuff at Ramsgate in mid-September

It's not like ebay… it's a proper 'stick your hand up' auction (Hobbs-Parker)

Ramsgate Harbour use Hobbs-Parker to sell off and reclaim monies from boats that have unpaid fees against them. You can get a bargain. I was waiting for the same advert to come out to me for them.

The catalogue is out in a few weeks.
Keep an eye on the FB page: https://business.facebook.com/HobbsPark ... eAuctions/

I am after a large, clean, spinnaker for the garden.
A good sized jib or main would do.
