Hi, I've just bought an rf900, always liked them, it needs a bit of tlc, are there any real issues I should look out for as I do a the bits I can see need sorting

Heloo and welcome hopefully you will be fully active shortly. Rf engines are pretty bulletproof carbs can wearand altinator bearing can go but appart from usual wear and tear with any bike they solid.

Welcome mate
Like Mike said the RFs motor is about as strong as an engine comes.
I have never ridden a Bike that can remain in top gear the way that a RF can. !
In most situations you don't even need to drop a gear to overtake its something you have to feel for yourself.
